Help Kigali Kids
- Our Story -
Deanne Reynolds is the Founder of Help Kigali Kids. In 2021 Deanne was diagnosed with cancer. Through prayer and an amazing chain of events, she decided that it was time to finally follow her dream of making a difference in the lives of children in need.
Her deep love of working with children, and a strong sense of calling to Africa guided her journey. In December of 2023 she and her husband Todd traveled to Rwanda, stayed in three villages and worked with over 200 children. That experience ignited her passion, and she has since been committed to supporting the children of Rwanda.
The vision of Help Kigali Kids is to:
Create reading centers with books and supplies so that the children throughout Rwanda can learn English
Help support the most vulnerable children and families in each center
Provide an end-to-end education and career plan for the children - from primary school through post-secondary school
Through learning English, help end the cycle of poverty in Rwanda
